Nelson Dimaano is New Toronto Chapter President

Amidst the warm ambience of Yuen Tung Restaurant in downtown Toronto, the beloved gathering place for fraternity brothers and sorority sisters over the decades, we recently celebrated the turnover ceremonies of Upsilon Sigma Phi Toronto Chapter. It was a momentous occasion marked by camaraderie and tradition, as we bid farewell to Raffy Policarpio, President of the Upsilon Sigma Phi Toronto Chapter now esteemed Chairman Emeritus, who has led with distinction since November 2019.

During Raffy Policarpio's tenure, the Toronto Chapter flourished with a myriad of activities, including memorable summer picnics last which was hosted at the residence of Henry Uy, batch '81, and festive Christmas events that brought joy to our fraternity, sorority siters and family members. We also honored our departed brothers through solemn final rites, remembering Eddie Lee.

It also was a time in welcoming countless brods from around the world who enriched our fellowship with their warmth and camaraderie.

The evening was made truly special by the presence of senior fraternity brothers who attended, demonstrating their unwavering support and dedication to our shared values. Their presence underscored the importance of tradition as we welcome Brod Nelson Dimaano into his new role as President of the Toronto Chapter.
