The Davao Chapter joined forces with other volunteers to help refurbish school facilities at the Davao City National High School on August 16, 2023 as part of the Brigada Eskwela 2023 program.

Brigada Eskwela is an annual nationwide school maintenance program that engages education stakeholders and volunteers to contribute their time, effort and resources ahead of the opening of classes. The program is administered by the Department of Education in cooperation with volunteer organizations.

This year, our brods volunteered to help paint and refurbish the high school's MAPEH department faculty room and donated paint as well as two new air conditioning units.

USPAA Trustee Jeff Coronel 2001 helped lead the effort and was joined by brods Arjay Borromeo 2020, Eljohn Militante 2020, Abu Mata 2021, Rex Año 2022, Victor Villamor 2022, Albert Remollo 2023, Aking Diosma 2023 and Jonathan Suy 2023.

Fellows Mon Allado '73, USPAA Chairman Roel Castro '84, Jeff Coronel 2001, Windell Matutino 2020, , Rex Año 2022 and Jonathan Suy 2023 contributed funds for this project.
