Attorney Leovillo "Bill" Agustin '58 has been chosen as the Gintong Medalya Awardee in the Law Category in the search for the Dangal ng Lahing Cagayano 2024. In a letter received from the awards steering committee and the office of Cagayan Governor Manuel Mamba, the jurors recognized Atty. Agustin's "demonstration of exceptional ingenuity and outstanding achievement in the legal profession which makes him stand apart as a leading figure and pride of Cagayan."

Attorney Agustin obtained his law degree from the University of the Philippines in 1962 and has been in private practice with the Leovillo C. Agustin Law Office since 1963.

"I am dedicating this award to the townspeople of Ballesteros, my beloved hometown," said the attorney.

The awarding ceremony will be held at the Cagayan Sports Coliseum in Tuguegarao City on June 28, 2024.

Attorney Agustin was honored with the Upsilonian Noble and Outstanding (UNO) Award by the Upsilon Sigma Phi Alumni Association (USPAA) in 2023. This prestigious award recognizes members who have exemplified the fraternity’s imperatives and values throughout their lifetime.
