Atty. Cocoy Lopez 2023 Awarded Best Taxation & Corporate Specialist Lawyer by APAC Insider

Attorney Francis Angelo "Cocoy" Lopez" 2003 has been awarded as best taxation and corporate specialist lawyer in the Philippines in the APAC Insider Legal Awards for 2023.

The APAC Insider Legal Awards honors top legal talent in the Asia Pacific region, bringing recognition to those whose knowledge, skill and innovation distinguishes them from the competition.

Attorney Lopez is a senior partner of Casipit, Lasalm, Bendijo, Lopez, Ontog and Associates (CLLBLAW) with headquarters in Parañaque City. He finished his bachelor's in Philiosphy at U.P. Los Baños in 2005 and obtained his law degree from the Lyceum of the Philippines in 2011. He worked as a senior associate for SGV & Co. in 2012 before establishing his own law practice with CLLBLAW in 2013. He was elected Councilor of Cabuyao City, Laguna in 2019 and served out his term in 2022.

Attorney Lopez serves as legal counsel to several multinational companies, associations and confederations in Metro Manila and Southern Luzon focusing on criminal, family, labor, immigration, customs and taxation law.
