On January 12, 2025, the Upsilon Sigma Phi conducted a tree planting activity as part of its commitment to sustainability and environmental protection. Held in coordination with DENR-PENRO Region XI at Barangay Managa, Bansalan, Davao del Sur, this initiative was led by Forester Ricky M. Esmeralda and resulted in the successful planting of 170 Narra seedlings.

This activity is part of the 𝘒𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘪𝘺𝘢𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘶𝘨 𝘒𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯, an agricultural drive that aims to restore native forests. By addressing the environmental degradation caused by anthropogenic activities, the project aims to restore the region’s ecological balance while mitigating the adverse effects of climate change. This initiative underscores the commitment of the Upsilon Sigma Phi to protecting the environment and fostering sustainable development.
