The Upsilon Sigma Phi held "Ugat ng Pag-asa," a blood donation event at the UP College of Medicine (UPCM) Henry Sy Sr. Hall on April 15, 2023.

This event was launched in cooperation with the UP-Philippine General Hospital (PGH) Blood Bank and the Philippine Navy, with the former being the project's beneficiary. Healthcare professional volunteers from UP-PGH assisted in the blood extraction process. Around 30 individuals have also donated their blood, most of whom are from the 221st Naval Reserve Squadron.

The fraternity would like to thank the donors who offered their aid as well as the UPCM administration for providing the event's venue.
