BuCor Chief Catapang Receives International Integrity Prize
Bureau of Corrections Director General Gregorio Pio P. Catapang Jr. was awarded an International Integrity Prize by the International Anti-Corruption Integrity Organization during his recent visit to Korea.
Catapang was awarded the IIP for his commitment and undertaking to improve and spread the value of integrity for being transparent and for his contribution to making the world a better place.
The International Anti-Corruption Integrity organization appoints Catapang as Person of Sincere Anti-Corruption Integrity.
Catapang was also awarded the Dangal ng Batangan for public service during the 442nd Founding Anniversary of the Province of Batangas last week.
He was handed a trophy by Batangas Gov. Hermilando Mandanas for his unwavering contribution and wholehearted service to the country while he portrayed the virtues of Batangueño such as nobility, industriousness, beauty, and wisdom.
Catapang who served as former chief of staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, vowed to live up to the expectations of his fellow Batangueño and to do more in the service of the country and the Filipino people.
